It is amazing how grown ups turn into children when then know snow is on the way. Here in NYC the snow is beginning to accumulate. It is time for the heavy boots to emerge....
NYC is one of the only places where snowfall does not really effect the day to day routines. There is never a shortage of food, cabs and public transportation. This is why, if you are going to be in a snowstorm, this is the best place to be.
I remember growing up in the burbs and so excited when I could take out my sled and go head first down the local park mountain. Where did that daring child go? Over time we can lose our "spark" our zest and our childlike wonder. No matter what age you are, it is never too late or silly to bring that kid back to life. So on this day, bring the child within to the surface.:)
Enjoy the white, fluffy clouds that are forming on our streets today. Take a walk in the park and savor in the beauty of this winter wonderland or simply roll in the snow....
